Bring robotic systems to life at Aeon Robotics
At Aeon Robotics, we develop advanced robotic systems that combine high-performance hardware with intelligent software. In this role, you will work hands-on with real robotic systems and support the assembly, testing, and validation of complex mechatronic platforms.
This position is ideal for Bachelor’s or Master’s students who want to gain practical experience close to real hardware. You will work directly with engineers from mechanics, electronics, and software and gain deep insights into how robotic systems are built, tested, and brought into operation.
There is also the option to write a Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis, depending on scope and mutual interest.
Your Mission & Responsibilities
- Support the assembly of robotic and mechatronic systems, including subassemblies and complete systems.
- Assist with commissioning, calibration, and functional testing of robotic systems.
- Perform system-level tests and help validate mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components.
- Support troubleshooting and debugging during assembly and testing phases.
- Document test results, issues, and improvements in a structured manner.
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers during integration phases.
What You Bring
- Enrolled Master’s student in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong interest in robotic hardware, mechatronic systems, and system integration.
- Hands-on mindset and enjoyment of working with physical systems.
- Basic understanding of mechanical assemblies, electronics, or electromechanical systems.
- Careful, structured, and reliable working style.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Nice to Have
- Practical experience with robot assembly, prototyping, or laboratory work.
- Familiarity with tools, fixtures, and technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of sensors, actuators, drives, or industrial components.
- Experience with testing, commissioning, or quality assurance processes.
- Interest in robotics applications in industry or research.
